On the occasion of the French Presidency of the European Union from July 1st to December 31st 2008, the European Cultural Season (Culturesfrance) in partnership with the National Centre of Cinematography is pleased to highlight the European cinema. |

Twenty-seven directors of the European Union will be invited during the release week of their films in France.This initiative will be coordinated by Europa Cinemas and will enable the French distributors to benefit from a financial support for the release of one or more non-national European films during the second six-month period of 2008.
